It does have a tank lining and appears rust free down in the reservoirs. It was originally a bumble bee but someone painted over the yellow and I had the tank professionally repaited black. I have a stock solo and a stock tandom seat

There are a few scratches on the tank,,see photos. Original seat cover. The original tool kit is under the seat. At that time I decided to put the S Model twin brake rotors and calipers on the front. It has maybe xxxx miles since. I have ridden it trouble-free all this time except for a clutch disc failure in which case I had replace in a certified BMW shop, the Transmission mainshaft and the clutch

Now for the good: completely refurbished in 2014 with all OEM parts, new seat custom made, almost new tires, original luggage, shifts and runs perfectly. Wheels balanced along with tire replacement. The odometer is stuck recently (last 1k miles) and the temperature gauge recently stopped registering
